Wallaroo cleaned up

Local residents living along the Wallaroo , Gooromon Ponds , Oakey Creek and McCarthy Roads participated in a very successful cleanup day on Sunday March 7th.
All the road verges of these roads were cleaned of rubbish. Yass Shire lent support to the effort by providing a truck to take away the rubbish. A full truck load was collected. Thanks and congratulations to these 'active citizens' !
It is planned to repeat the exercise next year.
