It is with deep sadness we report the sudden passing of Rosa Pirotta of Victoria St.
Rosa was a loving wife to Sonny and mother and mother-in-law to Anthony, Tania and Vanessa, Catherine and Richard and nonna to Zara and Sofia.
Rosa was a wonderfully warm and generous person. She was a very busy person who also ran a successful ladies fashion boutique in Dickson (SunRose).
Sonny, Rosa and their family moved from their property at Murrumbateman into the village in 2003 and really enjoyed the lifestyle of the village and the people.
Rosa's warm spirit and exuberant personality will be greatly missed by us all.
A Requiem Mass will be held on Friday 29 July 2011 at 10am at St Josephs Catholic Church in O'Connor followed by burial at Gungahlin Cemetery.
A celebration of Rosa's life will be held at the Hall Pavilion after the services. For those from the local community attending, it would be appreciated if you could please bring a plate.
