ACT Heritage visitors to the Museum

5 September 2011

Three staff members from ACT Heritage - Linda Roberts, Mary Gleeson, and Anna Gurnhill - visited the Museum on September 1. ACT Heritage has given two Grants to the Museum, and an application for a further Grant has been made this year.

The visitors were interested to meet the conservation volunteers, who continue to meet every Thursday morning, and to see the progress that is being made with conservation and management of the collection.

ACT Heritage conduct the annual ACT Heritage Festival, which we have participated in on a regular basis. Next year we plan to mount an exhibition about the bush schools of the Hall district - Bedellck, Mulligans Flat, Glenwood, Brooklands, Jeir, Gooda Creek, Griffiths Flat, and others.
