Canberra Centenary Trail.

13 June 2013

Work on the Centenary Trail is continuing, with the official opening planned for August or September. Contractors are currently completing earthworks and fencing at several locations around the ACT. Signage will be installed progressively but it may be that not all of it will be in place by the opening date. The Progress Association has been contacted to discuss signage at Hall.

The trail passes through Hall and it is intended to provide for camping at the Hall Showground, although no additional facilities will be installed at this stage. Those wanting to use the toilets, etc will have to pre-book to ensure they are open.

As the Trail is intended to be multi use - including walkers, cyclists and horse riders, the alignment will be a fenced corridor where it passes through rural leases, such as north of Hall.
