Woop Woop Riders colour the Markets

The large and busy December Hall Markets got some added colour and sound courtesy of the Woop Woop Riders - members of the Franklin family from Grafton way riding the National Trail in protest against coal seam gas ('CSG'). At the Markets they shared a spot with local advocates from the 'Lock the Gate' movement.
The Woop Woop ride, with footage of their adventurous ride south from Grafton, was featured on the ABC TV 7.30 Report. The Ride is also being covered by a Facebook page.
Tomorrow (Tuesday 3 December) the Riders are going to be at Parliament House , where there will be a demonstration against the Coal Seam Gas industry, hoping to have a meeting with Tony Abbott and Barnaby Joyce.
