CSIRO Ginninderra Field Station development

24 November 2016

The Progress Association is taking a keen interest in the proposed development of the CSIRO Ginninderra Field Station site. The Committee has met a number of times with representatives from CSIRO and their project team to receive updates and to discuss issues of interest to the Hall community. Key issues discussed so far have included traffic, sustainability, planning of the area of north of Kuringa Drive and water quality issues around Halls Creek.

We have appreciated the willingness of CSIRO to talk openly with us about the project and we will invite them back to provide regular updates. The land has now been rezoned as 'Urban' and CSIRO is in the process of seeking a development partner by around the middle of 2017.

If you want to know more about the project and/or contact CSIRO directly to ask questions, you can visit the project website at the CSIRO website
