Handbook for Committee Members endorsed

Thanks to all who attended the General Meeting of the Village of Hall and District Progress Association on 31 May in our well-heated Pavilion. The meeting endorsed a Handbook for Committee Members. This Handbook clarifies the role of the Committee, sets out community expectations for the values and behaviours that Committee members will uphold and observe and elaborates some basic terms of reference for the Committee. It is recommended reading for all members, but particularly those seeking nomination to the Committee.
The other important decision taken by the meeting was to agree constitutional amendments to expand the criteria for individual membership. More on this when the revised Constitution has been lodged with the ACT Government.
