Wallaroo Solar Installation Approval

2 July 2024

The NSW Department of Planning, Housing, and Infrastructure (DPHI) has completed its assessment of the Whe Wallaroo Solar Installation (SSD-9261283).

The project has been referred to the NSW Independent Planning Commission(IPC) which will determine the final outcome of the project.

The next step of the process is that the NSW Independent Planning Commission will now decide to either approve the application with conditions, or refuse consent. The Commission is the decision-maker because: more than 50 unique public objections were received and the local council has objected to the application.

You can view all information related to this project through the Commission's website here: www.ipcn.nsw.gov.au/cases/2024/06/wallaroo-solar-farm
