Congratulations to Hall Brass Band!

28 August 2009

On 23 August the Hall Village Brass Band competed in the New South Wales B Grade Band Championships in Penrith and WON! Our warmest congratulations to Colin Fischer and the Band members for the great achievement.

Hall Brass Band has started a second band for Hall Village Brass.

The Development Band has been created to allow more members of the community an outlet for their music skills. It is open to anyone who can play a brass or percussion instrument. Rehearsals are held each Wednesday at the Salvation Army Hall, Braddon, from 6.00pm to 7.20pm.

If you're a budding musician, haven't played for a while, or just enjoy having a blow with other people, then please come along! Contact the secretary on . Hall young musicians Rania (tuba) and Edon (euphonium) have been with the new band since it began in July.
