Membership
A defining characteristic of Hall and the district is that it is a village and community of people, not just buildings and properties. Your membership and involvement in the association or its special interest groups is a great way to enjoy our local community. It is never too late and there is always something of interest to be involved with.
Eligibility
There are three types of membership: individual, affiliated group or local business.
Individual membership:
Any person who is a resident or rate payer of the Village of Hall or the surrounding district or any person who is approved as a member of one or more of the Village of Hall and District Progress Association's Special Interest Groups (sub-committees): the Hall School Museum and Heritage Centre or the Hall Men's Shed. Members of any Special Interest Group (sub-committee) must also be a member of the Progress Association.
Affiliated group membership:
Any not-for-profit community group or Association, such as a local sporting club, or church, is eligible to be a member of the Association. A nominee from the Affiliated group is entitled to one voting right.
Business membership:
Any business operating in the village of Hall or in the surrounding district. A nominee from such a business organization is entitled to one voting right.
Payment details
Membership of the Progress Association is $10.00 per financial year (1 July to 30 June each year). Membership of Special Interest Groups is an additional amount per financial year as specified per group - currently $10.00 per financial year for the Hall School Museum and Heritage Centre and $15.00 per financial year for the Hall Men's Shed
