TAFE students choose Hall School Museum

19 February 2012

A group of students enrolled in the CIT 'Museum Practice' program (Certificate IV) have chosen the Hall School Museum to undertake their practical assignment. The assignment requires them to prepare a small display. The group visited the Museum and met with some of the volunteer workers yesterday.

Bruce Do, one of the group says: "After what we have seen yesterday: I think that our group would love to have an exhibition in May after your 'Bush Schools of the Hall District' exhibition. Overall, we are extremely impressed with what we saw yesterday! Lots of potentials, ideas and challenges".

Curator Phil Robson and Friends of the Museum have actively cultivated relationships with both CIT and UC, and are delighted to have the first student group coming to do some work at the Museum. Hopefully this will be just a start.
