Surgery bites the dust

21 February 2008

Unless you are 'out of town' you will have noticed the toothless gap in Victoria Street where the Surgery used to be. As reported at the end of last year, new office accommodation is being built for Financial Planners Barnett Lilley and Associates. As reported in the Rural Fringe, Stephen Barnett once lived just across the road, so will be 'coming home'. They anticipate having around seven or eight staff, and a steady stream of clients coming to visit them during the week. The plans show an impressive, modern building that will fit well in the main street. We look foward to welcoming this new enterprise later in the year.
